-When a student feels threatened by learning, the component in the brain that retains information shuts down. Today's teachers need to start the learning process for students by setting the learning in motion and then stepping back and allowing the students to explore and learn at their own pace and way. They must encourage and support the learning process so that students flourish to their full potential.
- Kahn Academy is an excellent resource to use for teaching your students or even for refreshing your own memory on any subject imaginable. When you join the Kahn Academy, you will have access to an endless amount of videos on just about any subject you can imagine.
-Screen Castify is a Google extension that you can download that allows you to share you screen, but also has a blank page where students can draw or work out problems or write answers or ideas from the assignment. There are many ways that this could be a useful tool for teaching.
